Suspicious Death On East Markham Ave. Under investigation by Durham Police
DURHAM, NC – The Durham Police are actively investigating a suspicious death on East Markham Avenue. Just after 4 a.m. on September 22, 2024, officers responded to a cardiac arrest call in the 200 block of East Markham Avenue. Upon arrival, they discovered an adult male victim in a residence who was deceased. The cause of death has not yet been determined, and the death is currently being treated as suspicious.
East Markham Avenue is temporarily closed from North Roxboro Street to Vista Street while investigators are at the scene.
