Investigations Underway After Two Men Injured in Separate Shootings in Durham

DURHAM, NC – Police are investigating two separate shootings that left two men injured in Durham on Thursday, October 3. 

Shooting On Stadium Drive

The first incident occurred around 12:45 a.m. when Durham police responded to a home on the 2500 block of Stadium Drive. Upon arrival, officers found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities seek public assistance, as the suspect’s identity remains unknown, and no arrests have been made. Shooting On NC Highway 55

Later that same day, another shooting was reported before 2:15 p.m. along the 5000 block of NC Highway 55. Officers found a second man with gunshot injuries, also non-life-threatening, who was transported to the hospital for treatment.

Police have not indicated any connection between the two shootings, and both incidents are under investigation.
