Two Shot Overnight on University Drive in Durham
DURHAM, NC – A man and woman were hospitalized following a shooting in Durham early Saturday morning, October 12, according to police.
The Durham Police Department reported that officers responded to the scene around 3:45 a.m. in the 1100 block of University Drive. Upon arrival, they found a woman suffering from gunshot wounds. She was immediately taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Meanwhile, a male victim had been driven to a different location by a private vehicle, where he ultimately called 911. He was then transported to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.
As of now, there are no details regarding any suspects involved in the shooting on University Drive. The Durham Police Department stated, “This is still an ongoing investigation, and no further details are available at this time.”
