Two Men Seriously Injured in Shooting Near McDougald Terrace in Durham

DURHAM, NC — Two men were seriously injured in a shooting on Tuesday night, October 22, in Durham. Police officers responded to reports of gunshots on the 1200 block of East Lawson Street, which is the location of the McDougald Terrace apartment complex.

Upon arrival, authorities discovered two men with gunshot wounds to their lower bodies. While their injuries were described as serious, police confirmed that they were not life-threatening. Both victims were transported to a local hospital for treatment.
