Durham Police Investigate Fatal Shooting on E Weaver St.

DURHAM, NC – The Durham Police Department is currently investigating a fatal shooting that took place in the 3000 block of E Weaver St.

Officers responded to reports of a gunshot wound around 8:41 p.m. on October 24, 2024. Upon arrival, they found an adult male victim suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to a local hospital by EMS with serious injuries but was pronounced dead shortly after.

Investigators are actively working to determine the circumstances of the incident, which is believed to be isolated. As the investigation progresses, additional details will be shared.
