Danville’s Caesars Casino Resort Set to Open in December; Over 100 Jobs Available
DANVILLE, VA — The much-anticipated Caesars Virginia, a $750 million casino resort, is set to open its doors in Danville this December, just an hour’s drive from Durham. This exciting development marks the culmination of years of planning and promises to bring world-class entertainment to southern Virginia, near the North Carolina border.
The Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians confirmed that the casino will feature 1,400 slot machines, over 80 live table games, a Caesars Sportsbook, and a World Series of Poker Room. In addition to gaming, the resort will offer a 320-room luxury hotel, which is already taking reservations for April. Nightly weekend rates start at $699, with weekday rates at $499.
In preparation for its opening, Caesars Virginia has launched a hiring spree, with over 105 job listings currently available on their website. This comes as the temporary Danville Casino, opened by Caesars and the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians in mid-May 2023, continues to attract visitors.
Adding to the allure, Michelin-star chef Gordon Ramsay will debut Ramsay’s Kitchen at the resort by the end of 2024. The modern, upscale restaurant inside the casino will seat over 250 guests and feature private dining and an outdoor patio with views of Danville’s historic Three Sisters smokestack.
The resort will also include an entertainment venue and conference center capable of accommodating 2,500 guests for concerts and events, following the model of other popular Caesars properties. The date for the December opening has yet to be announced, but excitement is building as the launch nears.
