Durham Police Charge Man with Human Trafficking in Multi-State Investigation
Durham, NC – The Durham Police Department has charged Jerry Demario Guess, 39, of Falls City, Nebraska, with three counts of human trafficking. Guess was apprehended on October 18, 2024, as part of an ongoing investigation involving human trafficking cases across Durham and other locations nationwide.
Guess faces charges for allegedly trafficking an adult victim in three separate incidents earlier this year. He is currently held at the Durham County Jail under a $6 million bond.
Authorities are now seeking to contact additional employees who worked for Guess in Durham or anyone with relevant information regarding this case.
