Durham Police Investigate Fatal Shooting on Holloway Street
DURHAM, NC – The Durham Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting that took place on Holloway Street near Brye Street on the morning of November 12, 2024.
Around 9:40 a.m., officers responded to reports of a shooting in the area. Upon arrival, they discovered an adult male who had sustained gunshot wounds. Emergency Medical Services arrived shortly after and pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
Holloway Street will remain closed between Raynor Street and Guthrie Avenue for several hours as part of the investigation.
