Fayetteville Woman Charged with Biting Off Part of Man’s Nose in Violent Assault

WHITE OAK, NC – A Fayetteville woman is in custody after allegedly biting off part of a man’s nose and stabbing him multiple times during an assault.

The Bladen County Sheriff’s Office reported receiving a call on November 4 from the White Oak Fire Department about a disturbance. A man and woman had arrived at the fire department in a car, with the man claiming the woman was actively assaulting him inside the vehicle.

Deputies arrived to find the man suffering from severe injuries to his head and face. He was transported to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville for treatment and was released after several days.

Davis

The suspect, Sandra Davis, 53, of Fayetteville, was also taken to Bladen County Hospital but was discharged with no reported injuries.

Following an investigation, which included interviews and medical evaluations, authorities identified Davis as the aggressor. Investigators allege she partially bit off the man’s nose and stabbed him multiple times with a screwdriver.

Davis now faces several charges, including:

  • Felony attempted first-degree murder
  • Felony assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, inflicting serious injury
  • Felony maiming without malice
  • Felony assault inflicting serious bodily injury
  • Misdemeanor assault with a deadly weapon

Davis is being held at the Bladen County Detention Center without bond. The investigation is ongoing.
