Caesars Virginia Casino Resort In Danville Announces Official Grand Opening Date

DANVILLE, VA — The much-anticipated Caesars Virginia Casino Resort is preparing to welcome guests to its impressive new complex, offering a luxurious getaway complete with a 320-room hotel tower, a full-service spa, an expansive pool, and a diverse lineup of dining options. The resort will also boast a sprawling 90,000-square-foot gaming floor, complemented by 50,000 square feet of meeting and convention space that doubles as a 2,500-seat live entertainment venue.

Designed to serve as an economic catalyst for Danville and its neighboring areas, the resort aims to draw in visitors through both employment and tourism. “We have worked diligently on creating a world-class resort that will offer all the luxurious and modern amenities expected from Caesars,” said Barron Fuller, Regional President for Caesars Entertainment. “We’re so proud of Caesars Virginia and look forward to welcoming guests to experience everything we have to offer.”

The casino’s initial presence in Danville began in May 2023 with a temporary facility, which has since generated over $66 million in gaming tax revenue for both the City of Danville and the Commonwealth. With construction nearing completion, Caesars Virginia is officially set to open its doors to the public on December 12, marking a significant milestone in the region’s economic and tourism landscape.

In preparation for its opening, Caesars Virginia has launched a hiring spree, with over 105 job listings currently available on their website. This comes as the temporary Danville Casino, opened by Caesars and the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians in mid-May 2023, continues to attract visitors.

Adding to the allure, Michelin-star chef Gordon Ramsay will debut Ramsay’s Kitchen at the resort by the end of 2024. The modern, upscale restaurant inside the casino will seat over 250 guests and feature private dining and an outdoor patio with views of Danville’s historic Three Sisters smokestack.

The resort will also include an entertainment venue and conference center capable of accommodating 2,500 guests for concerts and events, following the model of other popular Caesars properties. The date for the December opening has yet to be announced, but excitement is building as the launch nears.
