Goldsboro Woman Arrested After Stabbing, Vandalism in Raleigh
RALEIGH, NC — A Goldsboro woman has been arrested following a violent altercation in Raleigh that left another woman seriously injured. The suspect, identified as 32-year-old Ashley Nicole Eason, allegedly stabbed the victim, with whom she was in a dating relationship, and vandalized the victim’s car Saturday night, police said.
The incident occurred around 11:20 p.m. on December 14 at the Village at Town Center apartments, located in the 5900 block of Stillcrest Way off Capital Boulevard/U.S. 1, according to the Raleigh Police Department.
Officers arriving at the scene found the victim suffering from serious but non-life-threatening stab wounds. In addition to the assault, the victim’s car had been “keyed” and two tires slashed, causing over $200 in damage, an arrest warrant stated.
Eason, whose addresses were listed as both Raleigh and Goldsboro, was taken into custody shortly after the incident. She faces multiple charges, including assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury, misdemeanor domestic violence, and injury to personal property.
Eason is currently being held without bond in the Wake County Detention Center. She is scheduled to appear in Wake County District Court on Monday morning.
