DURHAM, NC – In a tragic turn of events, a 16-year-old male has been arrested and charged with murder and conspiracy to commit murder following the fatal shooting of a 17-year-old male on S. Roxboro Street. The suspect is currently in secure custody, authorities confirmed.
The incident occurred shortly after 11:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 17, when Durham Police responded to reports of a shooting in the 2500 block of S. Roxboro Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered the 17-year-old victim suffering from gunshot wounds. Sadly, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
