PHOTOS: Hillsborough Police Seek Help Identifying Suspects in ABC Store Heist

HILLSBOROUGH, NC – Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying two men suspected of felony larceny at an Orange County ABC store. The theft occurred Friday at the store located at 109 Oakdale Dr., according to a statement released by the Hillsborough Police Department on Saturday.

Surveillance photos provided by police show a man in a blue hooded sweatshirt pushing a shopping cart and interacting with another man wearing a white Nike sweatshirt with a black hood and cap. In one image, a third individual is visible in the same aisle, appearing to observe the two men.

The photos show the man in the blue sweatshirt picking up two large bottles of Don Julio Tequila, each valued at $205. Earlier images reveal three boxed bottles of the same tequila in his cart.

In North Carolina, felony larceny is classified as the theft of goods valued at more than $1,000, making this incident a serious crime.
