Krispy Kreme Launches 9 New Doughnuts in Triangle Test Market

RALEIGH, NC – Krispy Kreme, famous for its melt-in-your-mouth glazed doughnuts, has chosen Raleigh as one of nine Southern cities to test an exciting lineup of nine new flavors. Fans in the Triangle area can now try these innovative creations, which may soon become permanent menu staples.

“We love bringing our fans more flavors that they love,” said Krispy Kreme Chief Growth Officer Dave Skena in a statement. “These delicious new doughnut varieties have been heavily requested, and we can’t wait to see our fans’ reaction. This test will ensure these flavors are the perfect additions to our lineup of fresh, melt-in-your-mouth doughnuts.”

The new lineup features returning fan favorites, customer-inspired creations, and fresh Krispy Kreme inventions. Here’s what’s on the menu:

• New York Cheesecake: A plain doughnut dipped in white icing, topped with crushed graham crackers, and filled with cheesecake-flavored cream.
• OREO Cookies and Kreme: A plain doughnut filled with OREO cookies & cream, dipped in OREO cookie pieces, and drizzled with white icing.
• Cinnamon Swirl: Coated in cinnamon sugar and topped with cream cheese icing.
• Biscoff Cookie Butter Kreme: Filled with Biscoff cookie buttercream, dipped in Biscoff cookie butter, topped with cookie pieces, and drizzled with white icing.
• Original Glazed Cake: The classic glazed doughnut, reimagined as an old-fashioned cake doughnut.
• Cinnamon Apple Filled: Coated with powdered cinnamon sugar and filled with apple cinnamon filling.
• Maple Iced: An original glazed doughnut dipped in maple icing.
• Black & White Chocolate Chip: A glazed doughnut dipped in white icing, topped with chocolate icing drizzles and semi-sweet chocolate chips.
• Chocolate Caramel Kreme: Filled with chocolate caramel cream, dipped in chocolate icing, and topped with caramel icing.

Raleigh is one of the nine cities testing these flavors, alongside Atlanta, Greenville, SC, and others. Local Triangle stores participating include locations in Raleigh, Durham, Wake Forest, Knightdale, and Fuquay-Varina.
