Three Men In Cary Arrested For Robbery
Three men were arrested Wednesday in connection with a robbery at a Cary gas station earlier in the week, authorities said.
According to the Cary Police Department, officers took Jose Jonathan Majia Bonilla, 20, Angel Manuel Portillo-Romero, 22, and Keven Lara-Hernandez, 21, into custody, charging them with felony armed robbery.
Police reported that the robbery occurred early Thursday morning at a Han-Dee Hugo’s on NC Highway 55. Bonilla and Portillo-Romero allegedly entered the store armed with guns, stealing cigarettes, snacks, and $50 in cash, while Hernandez remained outside in a truck. During the incident, one of the suspects reportedly fired a gun at an advertisement display.
No injuries were reported in the robbery.
