Duke Defeats California in First ACC Matchup

DURHAM, N.C. – The Duke Blue Devils men’s basketball team bounced back from their first conference loss of the season in a strong manner as they returned home to dominate the California Golden Bears 78-57 on Wednesday Night.

Duke freshman forward Cooper Flagg scored 13 first half points to lead Duke to a 38-23 lead at halftime. Flagg finished the game with 25 points, five rebounds, and one assist. Duke sophomore guard Tyrese Proctor added in 18 points of his own. Freshman forward Khaman Maluach secured his fourth double-double of the season with 10 points and 12 rebounds.

Duke returns home on Saturday, February 15 to face another west coast opponent when they host Stanford at 4 pm.
