Durham Police Search for Gold Jeep Cherokee Linked to Teen’s Shooting

DURHAM, NC – Durham Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a gold Jeep Cherokee believed to be connected to a shooting on Courtney Creek Boulevard that left a 17-year-old male critically injured.

The incident occurred on February 20, 2025, at approximately 3:24 p.m., when officers responded to reports of a disturbance with a weapon in the 2800 block of Courtney Creek Boulevard. Shell casings were found at the scene, and shortly after, the victim was dropped off at a local hospital with life-threatening gunshot wounds.

Police are searching for a late 1990s or early 2000s gold Jeep Cherokee believed to have been used in the shooting.
