Durham Police Investigate Fatal Sunday Morning Stabbing
DURHAM, NC – A quiet Sunday morning in Durham turned deadly when police responded to a stabbing in a residential neighborhood. Officers arrived at the 2600 block of Magnolia Tree Lane just before 10:30 a.m., where they discovered a man who had suffered multiple stab wounds. Despite their efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Victim Identified, Suspect in Custody
Authorities have since identified the victim as 65-year-old Kenneth Lord of Durham. Police have arrested 26-year-old Ryan Lord, who has been charged with murder and is currently being held at the Durham County Jail.
