Raleigh Woman Dies After Shooting on Cantwell Court; Suspect Charged with Murder
RALEIGH, NC — A woman critically injured in a Thursday evening shooting on Cantwell Court has died from her injuries, and a 65-year-old man is now facing murder charges in connection with her death.
The Raleigh Police Department responded to a report of a shooting at approximately 7:56 p.m. on Thursday, March 27, 2025, in the 1800 block of Cantwell Court. When officers arrived, they found an adult female victim suffering from a gunshot wound. She was transported to the hospital in critical condition.
Later that evening, police confirmed that the victim, 38-year-old Alana Enoicy, had passed away due to her injuries.

Keith L. Atkinson, 65, has been arrested and charged with the following offenses:
- Murder
- Possession of a Stolen Firearm

Officers and detectives remained on the scene Thursday night to collect evidence and determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
