Durham Police Investigate Fatal Sunday Shooting Leaves Man Dead, Teen Girl Injured
DURHAM, NC – A man is dead and a 15-year-old girl injured after a Sunday morning shooting in Durham. The Durham Police Department responded to reports of gunfire shortly before 11:00 a.m. on June 29 in the 600 block of Reservoir Street.
Upon arrival, officers located two victims—an adult male and a teenage girl—inside a residence, both suffering from gunshot wounds.
The male victim was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries and was later pronounced dead. The 15-year-old female sustained non-life-threatening injuries and is expected to recover.
Investigation Ongoing
Police have not released the identities of the victims or any suspect information at this time. Investigators remain on scene and continue to gather evidence.
