Teen Fatally Shot at Knightdale Gas Station; Wake County Sheriff’s Office Investigating
KNIGHTDALE, NC — A teenage boy has died after being shot Wednesday night (July 9) at a gas station on Knightdale Boulevard, prompting an ongoing investigation by the Wake County Sheriff’s Office.
Shooting Occurred Along Busy Knightdale Boulevard
Deputies responded around 9:40 p.m. to reports of a shooting near the 6100 block of Knightdale Boulevard and Hodge Road. Upon arrival, officers discovered a male juvenile suffering from gunshot wounds.
The victim was rushed to the hospital in serious condition but was later pronounced dead on Thursday afternoon, according to law enforcement.
Investigation Remains Active
Authorities have not released the victim’s name or any suspect information. No arrests have been announced, and the motive remains unclear.
