Creedmoor Drug Raid Leads to Arrest of Convicted Felon, Seizure of Guns and Narcotics

CREEDMOOR, N.C. — A multi-agency drug raid in Creedmoor has resulted in the arrest of Joshua Lamont Satterwhite, 44, a convicted felon now facing more than a dozen drug and weapons charges following a search of his home on Oak Street.
Search Warrant Uncovers Guns, Drugs, and Stolen Items
The raid took place at 219 Oak Street in Creedmoor and was led by the Creedmoor Police Department, with support from the Granville County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team and the Person County Sheriff’s Office. The search warrant was the result of a weeks-long narcotics investigation.

According to police, the operation uncovered a significant cache of illegal drugs, including:

Cocaine

Marijuana
-
Schedule I and VI controlled substances

Drug paraphernalia
-
Packaging materials and cash
Investigators also seized two firearms, one of which was reported stolen. As a convicted felon, Satterwhite is prohibited from possessing firearms.
“An operation like this is only possible with the dedicated efforts of multiple agencies,” said Creedmoor Police Chief Troy Wheless. “Detective DeSantis and our partners have worked hard on this case over the last several weeks.”

Satterwhite was arrested at the scene and booked into the Granville County Detention Center under a $105,000 secured bond. He faces the following charges:
