On August 18, 2025, authorities apprehended Sincere Bostic in Goldsboro, North Carolina. Bostic was wanted for his alleged role in the June 29 shooting on Reservoir Street that claimed the life of 23-year-old Jayquon Taborn. He is currently being held without bond at the Durham County Detention Center.

Details of the Case

The June 29 incident unfolded in the 600 block of Reservoir Street, where officers found Taborn suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite emergency efforts, Taborn succumbed to his injuries. Investigators quickly identified Bostic as a suspect, issuing warrants that led to a multi-agency search spanning several weeks.
