Set in Harlem, Crutch follows Francois “Frank” Crutchfield (Morgan)—a brash but beloved shop owner whose life flips upside down when his highbrow son and free-spirited daughter return home. Between rebuilding family bonds and running his neighborhood business, Crutch must learn that family is the toughest job of all.
The series brings together a powerhouse ensemble cast, including Jermaine Fowler (Superior Donuts), Tony Award winner Kecia Lewis (Hell’s Kitchen), Adrianna Mitchell (Snowfall), Adrian Martinez (The Amateur), Braxton Paul (Sesame Street), and Finn Maloney (Suncoast).
In a special event crossover, Morgan’s character will also appear on The Neighborhood that same night, airing at 8:00 PM ET/PT on CBS, followed by the streaming debut of Crutch on Paramount+. In the crossover episode, Calvin (Cedric The Entertainer) calls on his cousin Crutch for a flooring deal that quickly spirals into chaos—and an unexpected emotional reveal.
