A Modern Christmas Love Story
Written and directed by Tyler Perry, Finding Joy stars Shannon Thornton, Tosin Morohunfola, Brittany S. Hall, Inayah, Eric Stanton Betts, Aaron O’Connell, Natalie O’Connell, Jeffery Thomas Johnson, and Whitney Goin. Perry also produced the film alongside Angi Bones and Will Areu.
The story follows Joy, a talented New York fashion designer whose gifts are constantly overshadowed by her boss. Unlucky in love and restless in her career, she takes a leap of faith and follows her crush to Colorado, seeking a spark of holiday magic. But when a snowstorm and a shocking revelation derail her plans, a chance encounter forces Joy to rediscover her purpose—and the true meaning of love.
