The Bellarie family is back — and no one is safe. Tyler Perry’s Beauty in Black returns to Netflix with more power struggles, betrayal, and bold new moves as Kimmie Bellarie (Taylor Polidore Williams) cements her place at the top of the family’s beauty empire. Kimmie Bellarie Takes Control

From the Chicago club scene to the corporate boardroom, Kimmie’s transformation has been one of Perry’s most riveting arcs yet. Now installed as chief operating officer of Beauty in Black and the new wife of business titan Horace Bellarie (Ricco Ross), she’s officially the HBIC — Head Bellarie in Charge.

“Kimmie exemplifies the spirit of never underestimating the underdog,” Perry said. “If you thought Season 1 was a wild ride, you’re not ready for what’s coming next.”

Family Feuds and Shifting Loyalties

Horace’s sons Roy (Julian Horton) and Charles (Steven G. “By the end of the season, Kimmie is on the verge of discovering a whole new level of power,” Williams teased.

Since its debut, Beauty in Black has been a streaming juggernaut — spending seven weeks in Netflix’s Top 10 and topping charts in 28 countries. Season 2’s first half repeated the success, hitting No. 1 in 14 countries during its launch week. The story of love, loyalty, and legacy inside one of entertainment’s most glamorous families continues to resonate around the globe.

The Endgame Begins

Netflix has confirmed that Beauty in Black will return for a third and final season, ensuring the Bellarie saga ends on its own terms. But before the curtain falls, fans can expect one more explosive rise — and fall — inside the family’s empire.

The back half of Season 2 arrives March 19, 2026, setting the stage for the ultimate showdown between ambition and loyalty.

“Her confidence really stems from Horace,” Williams said. “He believed in her from the start — now we get to see her claim what’s hers.”
