Two Men Killed, Woman Injured in Late-Night Shooting on North Roxboro Street in Durham
Durham police are investigating a triple shooting that left two victims dead and one hospitalized
DURHAM, N.C. — Durham Police Department is investigating a late-night shooting that left two men dead and a woman injured in the 3500 block of North Roxboro Street.
Officers responded to reports of gunfire at approximately 11:58 p.m. on March 13. When police arrived at the scene, they found three people inside a vehicle suffering from gunshot wounds, according to authorities.
Two adult male victims were pronounced dead at the scene, while an adult female victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Victims Identified by Investigators
Durham police later identified the two men killed in the shooting as:
- Tevin Burney, 23, of Durham
- Jarrett Godfrey, 26, of Durham
Investigators have not released additional information about the circumstances surrounding the shooting or a possible suspect.
Investigation Remains Ongoing
Detectives are continuing to gather evidence and determine what led to the fatal shooting.
