Spectacular Magazine 2018 Emerging Leaders Of The Year Named
Durham, NC – On Sunday May 20th, Spectacular Magazine will recognized and honored thirty-three of the brightest innovators and game-changers between the ages of 18-35 who are transforming the world in their own way with the Spectacular Magazine 2018 Emerging Leader of the Year award. The black-tie Awards Gala was held at the Millennium Hotel in Durham.
Thirty-three individuals in nine categories were selected by the Emerging Leader of the Year Selection Committee (Committee) as Semi-Finalists for the award based on on-line nominations. Via an on-line voting process, eleven of those were selected and presented the title of Spectacular Magazine 2018 Emerging Leader of the Year Awards in the categories of Activism, Arts, Beauty Industry Professional, Community, Education, Entrepreneurship, Fitness, Social Media Influencer and Technology. (Due to the large number of nominations in the Activism and Community Service categories, two awards were presented.)

Jennifer Jones – Youth Program Facilitator, Speak Up Speak Out – NC (Durham)
Education:
Quinton Parker – Assistant Band Director/Music Education Coordinator, NCCU (Durham)
Entrepreneurship:
Donovan Watson – Owner/Operator, Perkins Orchard (Durham)
