Mack Brown Hired as North Carolina Football Head Coach
Former Texas head coach Mack Brown has agreed to return to Chapel Hill to take the head coaching job at North Carolina. This move comes a day after UNC and AD Bubba Cunningham decided to move on from Larry Fedora, who finished with a 45-43 record in his seven seasons at UNC.
Coach Brown was the head coach at North Carolina from 1988-1997, where he comprised a record of 69-50-1 and led the Tar Heels to back-to-back Cotton Bowl appearances before taking off to Texas in 1998.
