Braylon Peebles Selected 2018-2019 All-American Scholar
Langhorne, Pennsylvania – The Pop Warner Little Scholars, Inc. selected Braylon Peebles as a 2018-2019 Pop Warner All-American Scholar. Braylon attends Durant Elementary School in Raleigh, NC and is rank academically in the top 2% of approximately 325,000 children that take part in Pop Warner Little Scholars’ football and spirit programs nationwide.
Braylon will receive his award due to the academic excellence that he demonstrated in the classroom during the 2017-2018 academic year as a member of Pop Warn Little Scholars, Inc. He and family will attend the 59th All-American Weekend held this year at the Marriott Baltimore Waterfront in Baltimore, MD on Friday, May 24 & Saturday, May 25, 2019.
Braylon is the son of William and Gia Peebles and grandson of two all-pro football grandfathers, Douglas Wilkerson and William Hackett. He is a member of the Raleigh Bull Dogs Team that won local, state, regional pop warner championships. The Raleigh Bull Dogs placed second in the ESPN national championships 2018.
Pop Warner Little Scholars, Inc. (PWLS) is a non-profit organization that promotes youth football and cheer & dance programs for participants in several states and countries around the world.
With approximately 325,000 youth participants ranging from ages 5 to 16 years old, Pop Warner is the largest youth football, cheer and dance program in the world.
Pop Warner was founded in 1929, and continues to grow and serves as the only youth football, cheerleading & dance organization that requires its participants to maintain academic standards in order to participate. Pop Warner’s commitment to academics is what separates the program from other youth sports around the world.
