[VIDEO] Strategies For Mindful Entrepreneurship (Part 1)
While entrepreneurship offers moments of reward and excitement; it’s also rigorous in its demands.
Many entrepreneurs can relate to the list of “to-dos” that never runs out; being tasked continuously with the need to ideate, create, execute, and collaborate.
However, being a mindful entrepreneur and a successful leader starts with cultivating a discipline around one’s self-care and mental well-being.
As we recognize May as Mental Health Awareness Month – there’s no better time to begin! Here are 3 of 6 strategies for mindful entrepreneurship for you to focus on this week. The remaining 3 strategies will be presented to you next week in Part 2.
Three (3) self-care intentions from mindful entrepreneurs:
1) Remember Your Why: re-connecting with your purpose, will offer the inspiration to push you past the finish line.
2) Celebrate Your Wins: gratitude journal 1-3 successes daily! Focus on your accomplishments.
3) Write Your What & When: record 1-3 goals for the day and prioritize them based on importance. Additionally, write a time next to each target – to protect that space in your day. If there are more than three (3) things that come to mind, great…allow them to become action items for future days in the week.
