Shaw University’s Homecoming, October 12-20, 2019, will feature a full schedule of entertainment, networking, reunions, and plenty of opportunities for fun and celebration. A gospel concert featuring national recording artist, Charles Clark on Saturday, October 12th.
Clark recognized his calling early in life and has served in ministry as praise and worship leader, director and songwriter. He is a classically trained musical artist who recently released his sophomore recording, “The Redemption Project,” which was recorded live and released in April 2019. He also has recorded with JJ Hairston, and shared the stage with many gospel greats, including Karen Clark-Sheard, Byron Cage, Vickie Winans, and John P. Kee, to name a few. Clark can be heard on background vocals for Dorinda Clark-Cole, James Fortune, Jessica Reedy, and Tasha Page Lockhart.
Gospel Concert also includes Campbell University Gospel Choir, UNC-Chapel Hill Gospel Choir, and Hands of Praise.
