NC State Announces 2020-21 Women’s Basketball Schedule
RALEIGH, N.C. – The NC State women’s basketball team released its full 2020-21 schedule, which is set to start at home on Nov. 25.
The ACC schedule has been expanded to 20 games this season, and the Pack will also play five non-conference games for a total of 25 contests during the 2020-21 regular season. Times and TV designations for these matchups will be released in the future.
Four of the Wolfpack’s five non-conference games will be played at home inside Reynolds Coliseum. NC State will open its season with contests against North Florida (Nov. 25) and Radford (Nov. 29) before making the trip to Columbia, S.C. to take on the top-ranked Gamecocks (Dec. 3).
The Pack will also host Coastal Carolina (Dec. 6) and Elon (Dec. 9) in non-conference action before entering league play.
NC State is set to play its first ACC game on Thursday, Dec. 13 at Boston College. The Pack’s ACC home opener will come later that weekend when it hosts Wake Forest on Sunday, Dec. 17 and then Duke on Dec. 20. After a break for winter holidays, the Pack will close out the 2020 calendar year with a trip to Georgia Tech on Dec. 31.
NC State’s first contest of 2021 will be a home matchup with Boston College (Jan. 3) before back-to-back road games at Virginia Tech (Jan. 7) and Wake Forest (Jan. 10). The team will come home to host Virginia (Jan. 14) before another pair of trips to Louisville (Jan. 17) and Florida State (Jan. 21).
The Wolfpack’s next four games alternate between home and away: versus Virginia Tech (Jan. 24), at Duke (Jan. 28), versus Miami (Feb. 4) and at North Carolina (Feb. 7). NC State then plays four of its next five at home as it hosts Clemson (Feb. 11), Notre Dame (Feb. 15), North Carolina (Feb. 21) and Pittsburgh (Feb. 25) with a road trip to Virginia (Feb. 18) in between. The squad’s regular-season finale is set for Feb. 28 at Syracuse.
The 2021 ACC Women’s Basketball Tournament will be held March 3-7 inside the Greensboro Coliseum.
