Crime Series ‘ATL Homicide’ Detectives Aid Colleague In Solving Cold Atlanta Case Monday
TV One‘s hit true-crime show ATL HOMICIDE airs this Monday, August 2 at 9 pm ET/8C. Viewers will dive into some of Atlanta’s grittiest cases solved by thirty-year Atlanta PD veteran Detectives David Quinn and Vince Velazquez. The dynamic duo recounts their past homicide investigations and reminisces on their quest to put heinous murderers behind bars. Real-life interviews are paired with dramatic re-enactments from actors Angelo Diaz who portrays David Quinn and Christopher Diaz as Vince Velazquez.
This week’s episode (Episode #310) reflects on a case that department newcomer, Calvin Thomas, brings to Vince and Quinn. The detectives solved a murder case involving his aunt just a few months before and Thomas is confident they can help solve a new one. The victim, Antonio McBride, was found gunned down on an Atlanta boulevard months prior. With very little evidence, and no shell casings or fingerprints, the detectives have to rely almost solely on their instincts and past experience. Luckily, they were able to track down an eyewitness and a Crimestoppers tip that leads them to two potential suspects and hopefully more answers.
