Sircastleteees is Durham’s Newest Sneaker Customization Headquarters

Durham, NC – Sircastleteees has expanded from their original location in downtown Raleigh to Durham’s Southpoint Mall. The store is most known for carrying all types of sneakers and their customization techniques. On their shelves, you can expect to see Jordans, Nikes, Yeezys, designer collabs, and streetwear clothing along with their uniquely customized pieces. Shopping at Sircastletees is an experience like no other.

When walking into the store you immediately notice their one-of-a-kind customized sneakers. You can bring them any shoe and they will make it unique to your liking. They even customize game console accessories making them stand out and bringing personality to an ordinary item.

We had the opportunity to speak with the owner of the store and learn more about the brand. The visionary behind Sircastleteees is Mike Phillips, Jr., a Raleigh native who always had a passion for art and sneakers. In high school, he noticed everyone’s footwear was the same and wanted to change the norm. When he combined his love for drawing and sneakers, he found himself discovering techniques to customize shoes and make each pair different. His creative talents quickly caught the attention of others and not long after did he open his first sneaker store in 2014. From there he began to dominate the sneaker game.

He now has two locations and creates custom pieces for all shoe sizes and types. His sneaker art caught the attention of big sneaker brands and gave him the opportunity to work with them. He has collaborated with Puma and Adidas. He eventually looks to work with Nike, and a gaming company creating customization for console accessories. Celebrities even shop with Sircastleteees and you may catch them in the store shopping.

What sets Sircastleteees apart from the traditional sneaker store is their ability to cater to their customer’s needs. If someone doesn’t like the original design on a sneaker, they can completely change it to their liking. There aren’t many places that can do that. No sneaker will ever look the same after leaving their store. “Customers never really know what they want until you give them something new and show them,” says Mike. As his sneaker photos go viral on social media it makes people aware that they can create whatever shoe they want if they come to Sircastleteees.

Mike’s love for sneakers combined with his artistic talents led him to create a sneaker empire. In the future, Sircastletees looks to expand the brand across the east coast and eventually to the west. They will continue to show off their customization techniques and show others anything is possible.
