New HBCU Bobblehead Series Features NCCU’s Eddie the Eagle
MILWAUKEE, Wis. – The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum has unveiled the first HBCU Bobblehead Series, which features officially licensed bobbleheads of 13 HBCUs, including the North Carolina Central University (NCCU) mascot Eddie the Eagle.
The hall of fame is making the bobbleheads and releasing them in celebration of Black History Month.
“We hope the alumni, students, faculty, staff, and entire North Carolina Central community will enjoy this new Bobblehead,” National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum co-founder and CEO Phil Sklar said. “Bobbleheads are often passed down from generation to generation, and we think the bobbleheads in this new HBCU Series will certainly become cherished keepsakes.”
The NCCU Eddie the Eagle bobblehead is now available for pre-order and is expected to ship in June. The bobbleheads are $35 each plus an $8 flat-rate shipping charge per order. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of each bobblehead goes back to NCCU.
In addition to the NCCU mascot Eddie the Eagle Bobblehead, other HBCU mascots included in the HBCU Bobblehead Series are Delaware State, Howard University, Alabama State, Grambling State, Alabama A&M, Florida A&M, Fayetteville State, Jackson State, Morgan State, NC A&T, Norfolk State, and Tuskegee.
