RALEIGH – Is there really anything better than a day at the N.C. State Fair? We don’t think so! The N.C. State Fair is set to bring you your Best.Day.EVER! October 12-22 at the State Fairgrounds in Raleigh.
Regardless of whether you visit us one day, or all 11, every visit will be an experience you’ll never forget.
The fair offers an experience unique to North Carolina for all who attend and is an unparalleled value with free entertainment, thrilling rides, and games, thousands of animals, endless family activities, competitions, vendors, and creative deep-fried delights.

May 19-21: Admission tickets on sale at our least expensive rate at the Got to Be NC Festival at the State Fairgrounds (in person only)
July 1: Contests announced, premium books released and the application period closes for consideration of space for potential vendors
August 1: Tickets on sale at our advance discounted rate at ncstatefair.org
September 6: Homegrown Music Fest line-up announced
September 15: Most competition classes close for entry
September 23 & 24: Last weekend of The Raleigh Market until November
September 24: The fairgrounds closes to the general public for fair prep
September 28: Walk-up ticket sales open at Gate 9 at the Fairgrounds, the State Farmer’s Market, and the N.C. Museum of History
October 1: N.C. State Fair Campground closes for public camping
October 12: Last day to save during the advance sales period
October 12-22: Come experience your Best.Day.EVER!
