Reward Offered For 2 Men Wanted In ‘Gift Card Scheme’ That Defrauded Butner Food Lion
BUTNER, NC—Butner Public Safety is offering a reward for help identifying two individuals who allegedly defrauded a business using a gift card scheme.
According to Butner Public Safety’s news release, the incident occurred at a Food Lion at 2531 East Lyon Station Road in Butner earlier this month. The pair conducted the gift card scheme on August 3. Officials mentioned that the subjects stole an undisclosed amount of money.
Authorities have released photos of the suspects. The individuals, both sporting dreadlocks and dressed in all black, were captured on camera. The authorities also released a picture of their car, a gray sedan.
Officials said a reward of up to $2,000 is offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect(s). If you have any information about the individuals, please contact Sgt. B.
