Arrest Made in Series of Raleigh Shootings on I-40

RALEIGH, NC – An arrest has been made following a series of shootings that occurred on November 4, 6, and 7 on or near I-40. Andrew Thomas Graney, 23, has been taken into custody and charged with one count of Assault with a Dangerous Weapon with Intent to Kill inflicting Serious Injury, and 11 counts of Firing a Weapon into an Occupied Vehicle or Dwelling.

Graney was apprehended in the 2400 block of Kentford Court along with another individual who has since been released without charges.

      • Vehicle struck

    • I-40 near Cary Towne Boulevard

    • Jones Franklin Road near Capital Center Drive
      • Vehicle struck

    • 2000 block of Wolf Tech Lane
      • Residence struck (two incidents)

    • 1500 block of Trailwood Drive
      • Vehicles struck (two incidents)
      • No injuries

Authorities seek help from the public to identify those responsible for these incidents.
