Durham Police Investigate Early Wednesday Morning Fatal Shooting On Lions Court
Durham, NC – The Durham Police Department is actively investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in the early hours of Wednesday morning on Lions Court.
At approximately 1:30 a.m. on January 8, 2024, officers responded to reports of a gunshot wound at a residence on Lions Court near the intersection of Sundial Circle. Upon arrival, officers found an adult male victim who had been shot. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.
The victim in this fatal shooting has been identified as Judah Taylor, 50, of Morrisville, NC.
Investigators are currently working to uncover the circumstances surrounding the shooting, which appears to be an isolated incident. Authorities have not released additional details about the case but assure the public that updates will be provided as the investigation progresses.
