Raleigh Nightclub Shooting Leaves One Dead, Another Injured

RALEIGH, N.C. – A deadly shooting outside a Raleigh nightclub early Saturday morning has left one man dead and another injured, prompting a homicide investigation.

The incident happened at 3:34 a.m. on August 9, 2025, when Raleigh Police Department officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 3900 block of New Bern Avenue at the Patio Nightclub.

Victims and Injuries

Upon arrival, officers discovered two adult male victims suffering from gunshot wounds. One victim sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital, where he later died. The second victim’s injuries were described as non-life-threatening, and he remains hospitalized.

Investigation Ongoing

Police have not released the names of the victims and confirmed that no suspects are currently in custody. Investigators are working to determine a motive and identify those responsible.
