Lifetime is bringing viewers a bold new original movie with The Widow’s Payback, starring Teen Choice Award winner and NAACP Image Award nominee Bianca Lawson (Queen Sugar, Rogue, The Feast of All Saints) and Kheon Clarke (SkyMed, Riverdale). Inspired by real stories, the gripping thriller premieres Saturday, October 18, and dives into the lengths one woman will go when the system fails her.

Plot: When Grief Turns Into a Fight for Justice

Lawson stars as Amanda Bibbs, a devoted wife whose life is shattered when her husband is murdered. With the investigation stalled and painful secrets coming to light, Amanda refuses to sit back. Instead, she assumes a daring new identity and infiltrates the dangerous underworld tied to her husband’s death.

Her plan leads her straight to Percy “Slide” Daye (Kheon Clarke), the ruthless criminal mastermind she believes is responsible. Amanda uses deception and courage to gain his trust and penetrate his inner circle — risking everything to expose the truth and claim justice.
