Dream Big 2021: Book Harvest’s MLK Day Book Drive & Community Celebration

Dream Big 2021 is Book Harvest’s TENTH annual celebration of books for all kids! Every year on MLK Day, we bring our BIG dreams to this community event that is part book drive … and ALL celebration and fun!
We can’t wait to Dream Big with all of you again on Monday, January 18, 2021, from noon to 4 pm as we kick off a year-long celebration of our tenth anniversary, so mark your calendar now for a safe and celebratory party you don’t want to miss!
This year, Dream Big will feature:
Dream Big Drive-Through – Families and community members will drop off book donations at Durham Central Park – and receive bags with books to take home and keep forever! They’ll enjoy safe greetings from popular children’s book characters and leave with a car decorated to celebrate the joy of reading.
Dream Big Video Premiere – A fun kids’ newscast, streamed on Book Harvest’s Facebook page, will kick off the event.
