Kwanzaa at the Co-op

Join Durham Co-op Market Sunday, December 29th from 4-5 pm for their second Kwanzaa celebration at the co-op. Join them for a kinara lighting, Congolese drumming, and samples from African American vendors. This tradition is part of a once universal practice of rhythm and dance done to integrate the self, to integrate the group and to heal. This is their second year celebrating Kwanzaa at Durham Co-op Market and they love to take this time of year to uplift their black vendors, producers, farmers, and team members. Durham Co-op Market will have a traditional altar and kinara lighting ceremony. Enjoy Congolese drumming and sample from their amazing vendors.
