Local Real Estate CEO Michelle Keaton-Barrow To Receive Leadership In Action Award

Charlotte, NC – Michelle Keaton-Barrow, CEO of Keaton Barrow Realty, is one of the pioneers who will be honored during the Annual North Carolina Women’s History Month Career Mastered Leadership in Action Awards on Tuesday, March 6, at The Foundation for the Carolinas.

Keaton-Barrow, whose firm has offices in Raleigh and Charlotte, will be among the recipients of the Leadership in Action award. With more than 27 years experience in commercial and residential real estate, Keaton-Barrow has developed a reputation as a trusted expert whose knowledge of current market trends, neighborhood statistics, and insurance information is unmatched.

She honed her leadership skills as a college professor, business owner and board member. Her passion for philanthropy is demonstrated by the numerous non-profit entities that she supports, including service on the board for the United Minority Contractors of North Carolina, the Charlotte Mecklenburg Black Chamber of Commerce, PAVE Charter School, and the Women’s Impact Fund of Charlotte.

Her charitable and professional involvement made her a natural choice for this award, which honors the achievements of women who have made a compelling mark on business across diverse industries and disciplines.

“I am honored to be among this group of exceptional and strong women whocontinue to have such a tremendous impact on our community and to serve as examples of persistence for future women leaders,” Keaton-Barrow said.

Presented by Linwick & Associates, LLC in conjunction with its sponsors, the Career Mastered Awards Class of 2018 honorees are exceptional role models of what today’s woman can accomplish.

“It is a powerful time to be a woman,” says Dr. Lisa J. Wicker, President & CEO Linwick & Associates and Career Mastered Visionary. “In alignment with the National Women’s History Month Project theme, Nevertheless She Persisted, we’re thrilled to honor remarkable women who make a difference each and every day while inspiring future generations.”
