Çoul Style: Street Fashion Meet-Up Features Color Blocking

Raleigh, NC – On May 4th, Çoul Style hosted its monthly Street Fashion Meet-up on the Dillon Rooftop in downtown Raleigh, rescheduled after the event was rained out in April. At these meet-ups, a fashion theme is curated for attendees to dress accordingly at each event. The theme for this Street Fashion Meet-up was Color Blocking.

Color blocking has been a running theme in fashion for decades now. While you can execute it anytime of the year, it is best displayed during spring. With mid-range temperatures you can pair dark and light colors, heavy and light fabrics all to the tune of bold and subtle colored tops and bottoms and not repeat any color in a single fit.

As we know, overall style if very subjective, however the theme of color blocking does not follow suit. It can be done wrong and misinterpreted. We don’t have to delve into the technicalities of how to color block in this post. Why, because as a street fashion blogger/photographer I have found a few people living in the Triangle who have a pretty good idea on how to color block.

Street Fashion Meet-up is that space where fashion enthusiasts are welcome to come in what they would deem to be magazine or Instagram worthy outfits and have the photos taken for free… street fashion photography style by me or other professional photographers. In short, the Street Fashion Meet-ups are an opportunity for fashion lovers and creatives to show off their personal style at no cost to them.

Each month Spectacular Magazine will feature the event along with the outfits photographed at the Street Fashion Meet-ups.

The next Street Fashion Meet-up will be May 25th.   If you’d like to get in on details about time, location and theme, then join the Facebook group Street Fashion Meetup NC by following this link https://www.facebook.com/groups/1726785627431828/
