Tim Johnson International To Present The 2019 Beauty & Barbers United Awards
Raleigh, NC – On Sunday, June 23, 2019, the annual Beauty and Barbers United Awards (BBU Awards) will be presented in Raleigh for the fourth consecutive year. Headlined by entrepreneur and Instagram sensation, Jesseca Dupart (BB Judy), this year’s BBU Awards will take place at the beautiful Marriott City Center (500 Fayetteville St.). Presented by respected Stylist and Image expert Tim Johnson, the BBU Awards is an annual celebration of professional Hairstylists, Barbers, Makeup Artists, Models, and other beauty influencers. This event focuses on education and celebration, where top industry leaders are nominated for awards and the coveted title of “The Best of the Best.”

Tim Johnson has owned and operated eight salons positioning himself as a formidable force in both the entertainment and beauty industry for over 30 years. He has also served as a commentator, emcee, and a spokesperson for some of the largest beauty and hair companies in the industry such as Bronner Brothers, Mizani, Pantene, Loreal, Salon Exclusives and Red Pro.
After becoming one of the most sought after beauty brand ambassadors nationwide, Tim Johnson has been recognized by elite brands and selected to produce and/or host elite beauty events such as BET’s Rip the Runway, Radio One’s Women’s Empowerment, Southern Women’s Show, and the Bronner Brothers, Inc.’s International Hair & Fashion Show. His ultimate goal with the BBU Awards is to create a platform that gives other industry leaders new opportunities similar to those which he has been afforded. Awards will be presented in the categories of fashion design, photography, makeup artist/hair, barbering, and modeling.
