Why Do Humans Need One Another?

If people and nations don’t work with one another, though, it will be hard to move forward quickly enough.

It’s easy to look at the modern world and scratch your head, wondering what has gone so wrong. With the UK still on track to separate from the EU, the US leaving the Paris Climate Accord, and countries like Russia, Iran, and North Korea ever-pushing other areas towards war, it’s easy to think that people will always be divided. Unfortunately, though, as this post is going to explore, unity is more vital than ever before, and the world needs to be working together to solve the problems everyone is facing.

Climate change and global warming are two of the biggest issues humanity has ever had to face. Things need to drastically change over the coming years, or the world is going to change to the point that it becomes incredibly difficult to sustain life, though the work of one nation will never be enough. Instead, countries need to work together to achieve environmental goals. Investments in green fuels, materials, and manufacturing methods have to be explored, though this can cost a small fortune, and a lot of places simply don’t have the resources to throw into something like this. It is hard for people to take positive action in this area, with many large businesses profiting off of relaxed environmental laws.

Alongside climate change, there is also a severe food shortage in the modern world. While people in developed countries are largely able to enjoy a good balanced diet, there are those out there who can’t afford more than a single meal a day, even when they have a hard job or are pregnant. Unfortunately, a lot of the places in this situation don’t have the land or resources to cultivate enough food for themselves, or the governments ruling them export most of it. There is plenty of food out there, but most of it ends up in the bellies of a select group of people. Charities like https://www.tprf.org/ put a huge amount of work into helping people who don’t have enough food, though more governments need to put resources into this area.

It’s unlikely that war will ever be a thing of the past, with people across the globe being able to find all sorts of reasons to fight one another. Of course, as a big part of this, though, large nations often stir the pot which makes the smaller ones enter into conflicts with one another. It will take a very long time for countries to start acting in the interest of the world, rather than their own economies, and everyone is going to have to work together to solve the problem of modern war. If you look into most of the fighting which has happened over the last couple of decades, you can find a small group of large nations which have been pulling the strings, and this is bad for the entire planet.

While the world may not be the best place at the moment, there are still a lot of things to be thankful for. The environment isn’t completely destroyed, there is a chance to end world hunger, and people have always had the power to stop wars. If people and nations don’t work with one another, though, it will be hard to move forward quickly enough.
