During a virtual press conference on Jan. 15th, “Little Women: Atlanta” stars Ms. Juicy, Abira Greene, and Monie Cashette opened up about their experiences filming season six of the hit reality show. In addition to dealing with covid restrictions, season six would be the first to air since the unfortunate passing of beloved cast member Ashley Ross aka Ms. Minnie. Ms. Minnie died from her injuries after a head-on car collision in April of 2020. The cast members expressed they are still in shock by the news and their ongoing healing process has been difficult while filming.

Abira

Abira Greene, a mother of four, explained the challenges of filming with children during covid-19. The cast was required to take a covid test every week. The majority of the filming had to be done at home due to covid restrictions. Abira has conserved feelings about her image on the show but has noticed a positive increase in her entertainment platform due to the show. She has become more of an outspoken activist for dwarfism, pushing her new slogan “Normalize Dwarfism.”

Monie

Returning this season, Tiffany ‘Monie’ Cashette spoke about changing some viewers’ misconceptions on season six. She was vocal about building her confidence on the show using the platform that she has. Monie says she was able to spend time with Ms. Minnie before her passing, expressing how grateful she had been. This season, Monie would like for viewers to notice that the cast is still healing from their loss and experience the real emotions behind the reality show.

Little Women
Ms. Juicy

Shirlene King Person, aka ‘Ms. Juicy’ has a very active role in season six. Ms. Juicy was not only a cast member but also promoted as an Executive Director. She mentioned it was a task to keep some things a secret and juggle both roles. Her focus was to make sure each cast member was treated fairly and had time to shine. She is excited about this season because she feels each cast member accomplished a personal goal and should be very proud of themselves.

Little Women: Atlanta season six will air on Fridays beginning January 22nd at 9 pm. Starting on January 29th, the series will follow with an aftershow, Little Women: Atlanta Unfiltered, hosted by Lori Love, on Lifetime Network.
