The Triangle Blues Society Road To Memphis Challenge

The Triangle Blues Society (TBS) is an all-volunteer non-profit organization that promotes and supports Blues music. They are an affiliate of The Blues Foundation. TBS holds the “Road To Memphis” blues challenge every year to select a band and solo/duo act to represent the Triangle Blues Society at the annual International Blues Challenge in Memphis, TN. During their “Road to Memphis” events, fundraisers by TBS help the musicians with their travel and lodging expenses. In 2019, Triangle Blues Society solo act Jon Shane was awarded first place.
